The crowd was undeniably younger than at the other venues, being held on Milwaukee's fashionable lower east side, not far from the Marquette University, UW - Milwaukee, and other campuses, and they loved every bit of the race. The climb was alive with cheers of encouragement - from the guy with the bull horn, to the Stemper Nation rooting for local James Stemper (Kenda), and all around the course chants of "Ba - Ha - Ti!" rang out as Raahsan Bahati raced in the lead group but finished a very disappointing 11th.
