IOWA: Burlington - Snake Alley Criterium - RESULTS PHOTOS "Shaking and baking" is what they called it as Adam Leibovitz and Colton Barrett crossed the line 1-2 over the lead pack in Saturday's race which boasted a record 128 riders at the start. Luckily, the rain cleared off just before the Pro classes raced in the afternoon after soaking everyone before. But with the rain leaving, the wind took it's place. “Coming down the hill on the fast part of the course it was straight block headwind,” said Leibovitz. “It slowed the race down at the fast parts.” “We got to the top of the hill, I lose ground going up, so when we had about four corners left to go I just railed it from there on to the finish,” said Barrett. “Coming into corner three, I was on the inside of Adam and I just yelled on him, ‘get on me’ and we just kept going to the end.” The local merchants appreciate your support as well: LINK.
