ILLINOIS: Rock Island - Quad Cities Criterium -
RESULTS PHOTOS - Back across the river into Illinois for the 48th Annual Quad Cities Criterium on Memorial Day. Paying $5,100 25 deep for the Pro 1/2 men ($12,125 total for the day) makes this one a must attend, rain or shine. The local media was all over this one too, both
newspaper and TV, and the top story of the day was Adam Leibovitz getting his third win in a row, sweeping all 3 criteriums over the Memorial Day Weekend. Perhaps the first ever to do so. From
The Q-C Times: "It is very special, but as long as one of the Texas Roadhouse guys won, I'm happy," Leibovitz said. "He did what he could, I did what I could, and it just worked out great."

KWQC-TV6 News and Weather For The Quad Cities -
On the ladies side, it was IS Corp p/b Intelligensia Coffee topping the podium once again with Madeleine Pape taking the victory over Jeannie Kahajek. The results sheets don't tell the
whole story, however, that of Pape being from Australia where she was on the Beijing Olympic track and field team where she ran the 800 meters. Pape was able to out kick Kahajek, the research scientist from New Zealand racing here during her 'off' season.

Thank you for that information on ice machines. This will be of particular value in the forthcoming months as the weather becomes hot. :)
